Saltair Proudly Sponsors CPAQ Regional Roundtables 2025

Saltair was thrilled to be the primary sponsor of the 2025 Caravan Parks Association of Queensland Ltd (CPAQ) Regional Roundtables, supporting an initiative dedicated to empowering and connecting one of the most engaged communities in the tourism and holiday park sector.

For us, this wasn’t just a sponsorship, it was an opportunity to listen, learn and contribute to meaningful conversations about the future of caravan parks and holiday parks across Queensland.
Championing Community, Connection and Collaboration

One of the standout features of the CPAQ Regional Roundtables is the genuine sense of community they foster. Each session brought together park owners, operators, and suppliers in an open, collaborative environment where people could share:

  • Operational updates and on-the-ground experiences
  • Tips, tricks and lessons learned
  • Challenges around growth, compliance, staffing and guest expectations
  • Industry insights and trends, guided by the CPAQ team

Seeing this level of engagement reaffirmed why we value our partnership with CPAQ. The roundtables aren’t just meetings; they are working forums where ideas are exchanged, solutions are discussed and the sector collectively lifts its standard.

Hosting the Final Roundtable at Saltair’s Sunshine Coast Facility

We were especially proud to host the final in-person roundtable of the 2025 series at our Sunshine Coast factory and display village. Welcoming CPAQ members and suppliers into our space gave us the chance to:

  • Demonstrate how modular construction works in practice
  • Show examples of cabins, amenities and other tourism-focused designs
  • Discuss how offsite manufacturing can reduce disruption, particularly for busy, operational parks
  • Explore how smart staging and delivery strategies can help parks grow in phases

For many attendees, seeing the factory and display village firsthand helped bridge the gap between concept and delivery. It’s one thing to hear about modular; it’s another to walk through finished spaces and understand how speed, quality and design can work together. We wrapped up the day with relaxed networking and woodfired pizza, an ideal way to cement new connections, continue conversations and celebrate a successful year of roundtables.

Why These Conversations Matter

Queensland’s caravan parks and holiday parks are evolving quickly. Guests are increasingly seeking higher-quality accommodation, better amenities and more considered design, while owners and operators juggle rising costs, labour constraints and planning complexity.

That’s why programs like the CPAQ Regional Roundtables are so important. They:

  • Create a safe space to raise real-world challenges
  • Highlight upcoming regulatory and industry changes
  • Share examples of innovation from parks across the state
  • Connect operators with trusted suppliers and service providers

As a builder with more than a decade of experience in the tourism sector, we see daily how critical it is for parks to have access to practical, up-to-date information and trusted partners. The roundtables are a powerful platform for exactly that.

Saltair’s Commitment to the Tourism & Holiday Park Sector

Saltair is proud to support caravan and holiday parks across Queensland with:

  • Turnkey modular cabins for all budgets and guest profiles
  • Amenities blocks, laundries and communal facilities
  • Manager’s residences and supporting infrastructure
  • Design-led solutions tailored to each park’s setting and operation

Our focus is on delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed buildings with minimal disruption to park operations, thanks to offsite manufacturing, streamlined delivery and efficient installation. Sponsoring the CPAQ Regional Roundtables aligns perfectly with that mission. By being in the room, listening to feedback and understanding emerging needs, we can continue refining our offering to support the sector’s growth.

Looking Ahead

A huge thank you to CPAQ, and to all the members and suppliers who attended the 2025 Regional Roundtables. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support these conversations and contribute to a program that truly empowers and connects the industry.

Saltair looks forward to continuing our partnership with CPAQ and working alongside caravan parks and holiday parks across Queensland as the sector evolves, raising the bar for guest experience, operational efficiency and design-led, future-ready accommodation.
